-
Holiday Rate: $75 per night;
-
Additional Dog: Take $10 off per night
-
Females in Season Rate: $120 per night*
-
Late/Early Appointment: $10 Fee**

Here at JK9, I strive to make your dogs feel as comfortable as possible by providing them a home environment and spoiling them during their stay. My boarding style is not the same as other places because each dog is cared for individually. This allows for me to take seniors, puppies, or dogs that just don't want to play with other dogs for whatever reason. Dogs will not interact with my personal dogs or dogs from other households here. If you are looking for a group play facility, I am not the right sitter for you.

Every dog will get their own kennel run with a Kuranda bed and blankets, 24 hour access to water, and will be medicated and fed on their personalized schedule. Calming products are used to reduce stress and there is a TV is in the kennel area for the dogs to enjoy. I also have bulk treats to distribute to the dogs while they are here and every dog will also receive a complementary toy or bag of treats plus a promotional item to take home.

Day Boarding is conducted in the same manner as overnight boarding. Times are flexible.

See my FAQ page for holiday boarding dates.
*Female In Season Rate is for females that are not crate trained.
**Times outside of 8 am to 9 pm for pick ups or drop offs will be charged a $10 fee per pick up/drop off.
Drop In Pet Care

5 Mile Service Radius from Baden
Rate is per 30 minutes

Standard Rate: $40 per visit
Holiday Rate: $80 per visit
I offer drop in care for clients that live within 5 miles of my home. This includes dogs and cats, but I also have experience with exotics, fish, live stock, and other animals. My address is located at the bottom of the page, please see if you are within my service area before inquiring. Drop ins will be 30 minutes or less and the cost is per visit. Anything that takes longer than 30 minutes will incur an additional 30 minute fee. At this time I only offer up to 3 visits per day. Visits will also be held within a 2 hour window versus a specific time unless medications are required.
Drop in care will consist of potty breaks, feeding, and medication administration. If you would like additional tasks like litter box cleaning, plant watering, or something similar that can also be arranged. Please keep in mind that I do work full time, have boarding dogs in my home, and also have my own dogs to train and care for and I will do my best to honor any time requests. Since drop in visits are designed to be quick, if you would prefer more one on one time for your dog I would suggest boarding. All dogs that are boarded in my home get spoiled with lots of goodies, you get a monthly promotional item, and they get a lot more attention here with me throughout the day.

See my FAQ page for holiday dates. Drop In services do not qualify for the monthly promotional item or extra freebies.

$40 per pick up or drop off
If you live within 5 miles of my home, I will come and pick up or drop off your dog for their boarding stay. All dogs must be able to ride in a crate to use my transportation services. I provide ruffland kennels for all the dogs traveling with me for their own safety as well as my own. This service is subject to my availability and will be conducted within a window of time versus a specific time. If you do need a specific time, please let me know and that can be arranged. This service can be arranged for day boarding or for overnight boarding.

Magnawave PEMF Therapy

Boarding Add On: $30 per session;
By Appointment: $40;
Travel/Event Price: $60
A safe, non-invasive therapy that promotes overall wellness and the body's ability to heal itself.
PEMF therapy is a totally non-invasive therapy that helps balance the body's energy so that it can work more efficiently to heal itself. It is a wonderful treatment for dogs that may be anxious during boarding or for common ailments. My personal dogs have used the therapy for a variety of reasons, including overall health and wellness.

I am certified by Magnawave as a PEMF practitioner in small animals (dogs, cats, etc.), horses, and livestock. My preferred clients are dogs, but I can also do a session on their human counterparts. This therapy can be added onto any boarding stay and if I see a dog in need I will almost always do this for free to help alleviate pain while they are here with me.

Basic Groom
Starting at $40 per bath
Includes a bath, brush, blow dry, and nail trim.

Nail Trim Only: $15 per dog
If you would like your dog to return home smelling amazing, clean, and fresh then let me bath them for you. I have a grooming tub (seen here) on site and I only use high quality products for their baths. You can add on a standard groom to any boarding stay and I will do everything that your dog is comfortable with. I am not a groomer, so I do not offer breed specific hair cuts or trims, but will do what is needed to help them feel their best before they go home. If your dog doesn't need a bath, I offer nail trims only as an add on as well.

"Make them tired"
Boarding Add On: $20 per session
Includes a mental or physical activity in addition to regular let outs and house time

I am an expert in burning off energy for those crazy, high energy dogs. If sniffing around the yard isn't quite enough for your dog, you can now add on a "tire them out" session. I will limit these to ONE session a day, but you can do as many days as you'd like or as little as you'd like throughout their stay. These are all the things that I do with my own personal dogs to burn off some energy and it can all be done without even leaving my property. This is in addition to the 4 let outs a day and regular one on one interaction I already do (low key fetch and TV time for example are free of charge). This lets you, the owner, tell me exactly how much exercise your dog truly needs so that I can plan accordingly to do what you would like while they are here. If your dog has prior health issues, injuries, or anything anything of the sort please let me know as it may limit what is safe for them to do. All of these activities are weather dependent, but if bad weather hits I will substitute for an indoor activity instead. Safety and the health of your dog is my top priority at all times.
Choose from the following options:
-
Slatmill run;
-
Bully Pully/Spring Pole (Tug) session;
-
K9 fitness circuit course;
-
Treat/scent work games;
-
Fetch/Frisbee to exhaustion;
-
Weight Pull Track Time or Chain Dragging
Walk at the Park
$40 per walk
A car ride and a short walk at a nearby park.
My property is a dog haven, with a spring pole, doggie treadmill, and a fenced in yard to burn off energy, but some dogs just like to go on walks. If your dog is used to a daily walk we can go to a local park nearby to take in the scenery. Since it is not safe to walk directly from my home, all dogs must be transported in my vehicle to the park before walking. This will require your dog to ride in a ruffland kennel for safety for the 10 or 15 minute drive to one of the many nearby parks or walking areas.
