About Me

I was raised with dogs, cats, horses, and all kinds of animals and that passion has followed me into adulthood.  I now have an obsession with seeing what my dogs can do in a competition setting in various sports.  My first dog on my own was a Boxer that had aggression issues, which introduced me to a balanced trainer and to the Belgian Malinois.  Moving back to PA, I got a German Shepherd that also had dog reactivity issues, which lead me to yet another balanced trainer and the wonderful world of dog sports.  While training there I got my first Belgian Malinois and dove head first into dog sports and the rest is history.  Now all of my dogs are from working lines, all of my dogs have a designated job, and all of my dogs share in some really amazing adventures with me.  I have been training my own dogs for over 14 years and competing in dog sports for over 6 years.  Feel free to follow my Facebook page to hear about my dog sport adventures with my dogs.

My Credentials

I have continued educating myself in my dog training and handling skills as well as in animal care and wellness.  This experience and education allows me to provide the best services I can for my clients.  I am also fully licensed and insured.

Kennel License.jpg

Fully Licensed Boarding Kennel
License through the PA Department of Agriculture

I am fully licensed with the state of Pennsylvania as a boarding kennel and I am subject to regular kennel inspections.  This helps guarantee the health and safety of all of the dogs staying at my home and also helps provide peace of mind that my home has been inspected by a local dog warden.  Due to this licensing, all dogs are required to be up to date on their rabies vaccines prior to boarding and must provide proof of vaccination.

Certification from the Pet Emergency Academy.  Valid through July 2026

Accidents happen and your pet sitter should be educated and prepared for emergencies.  I have first aid kits and items on hand at all times to provide care in the case of emergencies.  This does not substitute veterinary care, but life-saving measures can be applied to help them until they can be seen by a veterinary professional.

Why Pet Sitting?

Because I Love Dogs!

I am a PA licensed attorney, but I was also working part-time jobs because I couldn't find consistent work in the oil and gas industry.  Then one day I decided to give pet sitting a try because what's better than hanging with dogs?!  I am now a full-time attorney with a wonderful firm, but I enjoy pet sitting so much that I decided to make it a permanent thing in my life.  I have wonderful clients and friends that truly trust no one else with their dogs (and for good reason) and I will never turn down a dog in need if I can help it.  My repeat dogs truly hold a special place in my heart and they become part of my family.  It is extremely important to me to continue to offer high quality of care, peace of mind, and my experience to my clients in an industry where it is typically lacking.

Why MagnaWave PEMF Therapy?

Because it Works!

I was the BIGGEST skeptic to PEMF when I decided to give it a try over 8 years ago.  Two practitioners were offering PEMF where I was training on a regular basis.  My German Shepherd suffered greatly from arthritis in her spine, and they insisted it was this magical thing that sounded way too good to be true.  I bought a package, used my package because I paid for it, and then planned on never going back.  Well, my Shepherd started to noticeably decline so I ate my words, apologized for being wrong, and I've been a client for ALL of my dogs (and myself) ever since.  Recently I decided it was finally time to buy my own machine to use on my personal dogs and then thought it would be a wonderful option for my clients as well.  I want to spread knowledge and awareness of PEMF therapy and all of the things it can do to help small animals, dogs, people, horses, livestock . . . you name it we can wave it.  I've treated my personal dogs for severe allergies, anxiety, minor injuries as well as severe injuries, wounds, surgery healing, arthritis, sickness, end of life comfort and care, and for overall wellbeing.  I ALWAYS get my competition dogs waved before a major trial and sometimes immediately after, so they feel their best come show time.
